Privacy Policy
Last updated October 26, 2026
This policy explains what Jay Chun Inc., doing business as eazylearn.ai (“EazyLearn”, “we”), collects when you use the EazyLearn website, editor and review links, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We’re responsible for your information as described here.
The short version
- We collect what we need to run your account, take payment and save the courses you publish.
- We don’t sell your information, show ads, or use tracking or advertising cookies.
- Course content goes to an AI provider only when you use an AI feature.
- Ask us any time to see, fix, export or delete your information.
1. What we collect
Your account
Your email address, your name and profile picture if you add them, and sign-in records (such as when and from which browser you signed in). Our sign-in provider, Clerk, handles passwords and sign-in codes for us.
Billing
When you buy a plan or an AI credit pack, Stripe takes your card details on its own secure pages. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe tells us your plan, its status and renewal date, and the last four digits and expiry of your card, so we can show them to you. Stripe keeps your billing address and payment history.
Your courses
- While you work, the editor saves your course in your own browser on your device, and in any project file you choose to save. It isn’t sent to us.
- When you publish to a review link (or use My courses), we store that course, its media and its comments on our servers, together with the names reviewers type in with their comments.
- When you use an AI feature, we send what’s needed for that request (such as your instructions, the slide’s text and pictures, or a script to voice) to our AI provider, and send back its answer.
AI credits
We record what each AI answer cost and how many of your monthly credits and credit packs are left.
Technical information
Like any website, our hosting provider records technical details of requests, such as IP address, browser type and time, in short-lived logs used to keep the Service running and secure.
Messages
If you email us, we keep the conversation so we can help you.
2. How we use it
- To provide the Service: sign you in, save and publish your courses, run the AI features, and keep track of your plan and AI credits.
- To take payments, send receipts, and handle refunds and billing questions.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
- To send messages about your account, such as sign-in codes, receipts, renewals and important changes. We don’t send marketing email unless you’ve agreed to it, and you can opt out any time.
- To meet legal obligations, such as keeping tax records.
Where the law asks for a legal basis (for example, in the EU and UK), we rely on: performing our contract with you; our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving the Service; your consent, where we ask for it; and legal obligations.
3. Cookies and browser storage
We only use cookies and browser storage that the Service needs to work: cookies that keep you signed in (from Clerk), and browser storage that holds your autosaved course and editor settings on your device. We don’t use analytics, advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
4. Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t share it for advertising. We share it only with companies that run parts of the Service for us, under contracts that limit what they can do with it:
| Provider | What for | What they receive |
|---|---|---|
| Vercel | Hosting the website and app; storing published courses | Requests to the site, published courses and comments |
| Clerk | Accounts and sign-in | Email, name, profile picture, sign-in records |
| Stripe | Payments | Email, card and billing details, purchases |
| Upstash | Keeping AI credit balances | Your account ID and usage amounts |
| Anthropic | AI slide writing and design | The content of AI requests you make |
| AI pictures and voiceovers | The content of AI requests you make |
We use these AI providers through their business APIs. Content you send through the AI features is used to produce your answer, under those providers’ commercial terms and privacy policies.
We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect people’s safety or our rights, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy would continue to protect it.
5. How long we keep it
- Account information: while your account is open. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it within 30 days.
- Published courses and comments: until you remove them from My courses, or your account is deleted.
- AI credit records: while your account is open.
- Billing records: as long as tax and accounting laws require, usually up to 7 years. Stripe keeps its own records under its policy.
- Technical logs: kept briefly by our hosting provider, then deleted.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to show you, correct, export or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop using it for a particular purpose. Email info@eazylearn.ai from the address on your account and we’ll reply within 30 days. We won’t treat you differently for using these rights.
Depending on where you live (for example, California, the EU or the UK), you may have further rights under local law, and you can complain to your local data protection authority.
7. Security
Information travels to and from EazyLearn encrypted (HTTPS). Passwords and card numbers are handled by Clerk and Stripe, never stored by us. Access to our systems is limited to what’s needed to run the Service. No service can be perfectly secure, so please use a strong, unique password and tell us if you notice anything wrong.
8. Where your information is processed
EazyLearn and its providers are based in the United States, so your information is processed there. Where the law requires it, transfers are covered by safeguards such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
9. Children
EazyLearn is for adults building courses. It isn’t meant for children under 16, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has given us information, tell us and we’ll delete it. Learners who take a published course don’t need an EazyLearn account.
10. Courses you publish to an LMS
When you export a course to your own website or learning management system, it runs there, not on EazyLearn. Whatever that system records about your learners is between you and that system.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we’ll update the date above and tell you by email or in the app before the change applies.
12. Contact
